Epson has earned three 2026 PRINTING United Alliance Pinnacle Product Awards, recognition the organization describes as the printing industry’s most prestigious honor for products and technologies that advance quality, capability and productivity. The winning systems span Epson’s industrial professional imaging range, underscoring the company’s strength in both wide-format solvent printing and dye-sublimation at a moment when decorators and print providers are upgrading capacity.
The Winning Lineup
Three Epson solutions took top honors in the competition. The SureColor S8170 is a 64-inch solvent printer recognized in the Roll-to-Roll Solvent/Latex category (under 80 inches). The SureColor F20070 is an industrial dye-sublimation printer recognized in Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile (over $100k). The SureColor F9570H is a 64-inch dye-sublimation printer recognized in Roll-to-Roll Dye-Sublimation on Textile (under $50k). Together they map Epson’s coverage from entry-level textile print to high-volume industrial sublimation.
What the Awards Measure
The Pinnacle Awards are open exclusively to Alliance corporate supplier members and recognize products available for sale in 2026. A panel of expert judges evaluated each submission on innovation, functionality and industry impact. This year the program handed out 71 awards total: 25 Output winners, 32 Non-Output winners and 14 Technology winners. Epson’s triple win places it among the most recognized suppliers in the field.
Why It Matters for Print Providers
“We are honored to see Epson’s wide format solutions recognized by the industry once again,” said Andreas Goehring, director of Professional Imaging at Epson America. “This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to developing innovative technologies that help customers grow their businesses, streamline production, and deliver outstanding results.” Lindsay Ferrari, program administrator for PRINTING United Alliance, noted that this year’s winners “demonstrate an exceptional commitment to solving real-world challenges, improving performance, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.”
For commercial printers and decorators, third-party validation matters. The Pinnacle Awards give buyers an independent benchmark when comparing capital equipment, an especially useful reference point given how quickly wide-format and textile print technologies evolve. A triple win also signals that Epson’s strategy of spanning entry-level and high-volume dye-sub, alongside production solvent, is resonating with both judges and the market. The dye-sublimation segment in particular has grown as soft signage, apparel and home décor demand more customization and faster turnaround.
Where to See Them
Epson will demonstrate the award-winning solutions at PRINTING United in Las Vegas, September 23-25, at Booth #C1945. For shops weighing a wide-format or textile investment ahead of the show, the Pinnacle gallery is a sensible shortlist to start from, and the Epson booth a logical stop. As the decorating and signage markets consolidate around fewer, more capable platforms, awards like these help cut through marketing noise and point buyers toward proven performers.
